I’m a Staff Product Manager at Udemy, leading MarTech product strategy. I came to Udemy after three years at McAfee on MarTech and AI product, where I led ML-driven dynamic pricing that lifted conversion up to 28%, and a year at Cogeco Connexion building their internal CDP.
I started in code, not product. Five years as a programmer analyst, then a path through digital marketing, an MBA, and agency work before coming to product full-time in 2021. The technical foundation still shows up. I’m comfortable talking to engineering at the schema level instead of the user-story level.
what i work on
At Udemy, I own MarTech product strategy across our experimentation, data, content, and messaging stack (Databricks, Amplitude, Contentful, Hightouch, Braze). The work spans marketing, pricing, and product partners. Outside work, I build at the intersection of product, AI, and MarTech.
what i think
AI is disrupting product work at multiple layers: what teams ship, how they ship, and what skills matter. The strategic question is how to use that disruption for new value, not to ship more or faster. Especially in the meta layer above LLM primitives, where orchestration choices decide whether teams own a product or rent a capability.
how i operate
Marketing before product means I see roadmaps through both go-to-market and engineering lenses. Most of my time goes into identifying the version of competing requests where the company gets the best outcome, then shifting priorities at AI-era speed with the least damage and the most value. I learn a lot from building personal projects. For example, using API tokens quickly taught me how important it is to keep AI investments under a P&L lens, not a hype lens. I empower the team by removing friction, not by stepping back. When I’m building a team, I look for curiosity, awareness, and general sharpness more than for any specific skill set.
